EtherAuthority has conducted a thorough security and functionality audit of the Honor DAO smart contracts. Honor DAO is a decentralized finance (DeFi) project that allows users to mint, swap, trade, burn tokens, and manage liquidity. The project’s smart contracts build upon well-regarded OpenZeppelin libraries such as IERC721, ERC20, SafeERC20, Ownable, and ReentrancyGuard, which are known for their strong security features.
To perform the audit, EtherAuthority utilized automated tools like Slither and Solhint, along with the Remix IDE, and also conducted careful manual code reviews. The audit found no critical, high, or medium-level security weaknesses. Only two low-level issues and a few very minor concerns were identified. These results suggest that Honor DAO’s smart contracts are secure. However, the audit also noted the presence of owner controls, meaning the project isn’t completely decentralized.
This audit highlights the significance of in-depth security reviews for developers and investors in the DeFi space. By using trusted libraries and undergoing comprehensive audits, projects like Honor DAO show their dedication to protecting user funds and fostering confidence within the blockchain ecosystem.
