These contracts are integral to the blockchain’s consensus mechanism, orchestrating vital actions such as the creation and updating of validators, the voting process for proposals, staking functionalities for validators, and the operation of the bridge.
The audit process involved a multi-faceted approach. Industry-standard tools like Slither, Solhint, and Remix IDE were employed to automatically scan the codebase for potential vulnerabilities. Complementing this, a rigorous manual audit was performed through critical analysis of the smart contract logic.
The findings of this thorough audit are encouraging. Notably, customer-facing Solidity-based smart contracts were assessed as “Secured.” It was observed that the token contract incorporates owner control, a design choice that inherently introduces a degree of centralization. However, the comprehensive analysis revealed a remarkably clean bill of health for critical and high-severity issues. In fact, the audit identified zero critical, zero high, zero medium, and zero low severity issues. Only a few very low-level concerns were noted, and these have all been acknowledged and addressed within the contract code. This robust security foundation underscores MainnetZ’s commitment to building a reliable and trustworthy ecosystem for the next generation of decentralized applications.
