Project Background
The ShibaNova team has set up a presale contract to facilitate project fundraising on their platform. As the owner of the contract, ShibaNova plays a key role in managing the presale process.
To sustain operations, ShibaNova collects a 1% fee in BNB from the funds raised, along with a small portion of the project tokens deposited. The designated ‘payee’ is the wallet address of the project owner who initiates the presale and is responsible for depositing the required project tokens.
Each presale is configured with a start block and end block, defining the sale’s active period. Initially, a whitelist phase is available exclusively for Nova and sNova token holders, typically lasting around 30 minutes, giving loyal community members early access.
Once the presale concludes — either through full subscription or expiration of the time window — ShibaNova executes the ‘addLiquidity’ function. This critical step creates and locks liquidity pool (LP) tokens, ensures that purchasers can claim their tokens, sends the fee to ShibaNova, and allows the project owner to collect the raised BNB.
Executive Audit Summary
ShibaNova’s presale smart contract underwent a thorough security audit to ensure investor safety and contract reliability. Based on a standard audit assessment, the project’s Solidity smart contracts are considered “Secured.”
However, it is important to note that the contracts contain owner controls, meaning they are not fully decentralized.
For the audit, top industry tools such as Slither, Solhint, and Remix IDE were utilized alongside a critical manual analysis. The results were positive:
- 0 critical issues
- 0 high-level issues
- 0 medium-level issues
- 2 low-level issues
- A few very minor (very low-level) issues were detected.
This outcome reinforces ShibaNova’s commitment to providing a secure and efficient presale platform, ensuring transparency and trust for both project owners and investors.
